Need Help? The heroes for hire are here!

I just came back from the comic book shop and I bought the new Civil War tie-in copies. I have with me right now, Heroes for hire #1, Wolverine #45 and New Avengers #23.

I wonder what's Spider-Woman doing in the cover of new Avengers #23. I haven't read it yet but I'm guessing that Spider-Woman has changed sides and has already and joined Captain America's Side. Well what do ya' know? She has been giving information against the Registration Act side. Well, that's war. We can't avoid spies but Spider-Woman shouldn't have blown her cover that early. So who's next? I mean who will be the next hero to change side? I have a very good guess and I know you know him. He is somewhat similar to Spider-Woman and he has a new costume.

Is it Barney? Krusty the Clown? or Michael Jackson? The answer is Spider-Man so you have to be ready next month (there has been delays again) to grab the next Amazing Spider-Man issue.

For Wolverine #45, it's obvious on the front Cover that Wolverine will be facing Namor. Why? I haven't read it yet but let me take a wild guess again. My guess is based from the previous issue of Wolverine. Namor, as we all know is one heck of a boss in Atlantis and his cousin Namorita has joined the fate of the other New Warriors members. So to shorten this one up, Namor and Wolverine is fighting for who will give Nitro, the villain who took out 600 lives, the justice he deserves. So if Namor will win the battle, he will take Namor to Atlantis and give Nitro the execution he just deserves. On the other hand, if Wolverine gets Namor, he will have to give Nitro what he deserves. A painful death. And you are right, I don't think Nitro should ever be put in prison and if the S.H.I.E.L.D. does that, I think they'll just be facing their death wish. Nitro will blow up himself again. And yeah that's what he do. He blows himself up. Don't get me wrong, what I mean is he ignites and explodes. You naughty boy.

As for Heroes for Hire #1, I have no clue on what will happen on it yet but I think it's something the S.H.I.E.L.D. has come up with to help them capture costumed criminals or what I mean is costumed heroes who doesn't wanna register. What I heard is that Black Cat and some other gorgeous Super Sexy Lady heroes are involved in this one. Let me read them first then I'll post a spoiler here.

Well, that's it. Till next time lads.

This post has been changed for wrong information posted. Thanks to Jepster.

That's not Arachne my friend. That's the original Spider-woman, Jessica Drew. Also, FYI, she is an AVENGER. That's why she's on the cover.

Which leads me to a question.
When did you start reading comics?

And the next Spidey-issue isn't coming out next week. It's next month.

Check out the delayed shippings of Civil War Titles on our site.

Didn't Comic Quest inform you of the delays?

Hey yeah. I'm sorry about that. My mistake. I was posting before I even read the comics. What I'm talking about is the New Avengers.

Amazing Spider-man #535 was supposed to be released next week when I checked Marvel.com last two weeks ago. Oh I guess there was a delay or something.
Yeah it's Spider-Woman alright. I've been reading comics since I was in high-school. And I was 15 years old back then.

No problem. Just wanted help the other readers out there too.

Just so you know...

Two Civil War Titles aside from frontline and Civil War itself was delayed, namely fantastic four and Amazing Spidey.

These four titles didn't come out THIS month and will also not come out on october.

Civil War #5 will come out in November, hopefully and 6 on December as it ends on January.

It sucks really as I was expecting it to end this november...

Well, this doesn't square with any of the thread above, I just want to say that I think the new Heroes for Hire are pretty stupid.

A) Shang-Chi. Shang-Chi should always be the lead man of any story. Once he's relegated to the back of the class it's no good. Has this writer even read the 70s master of Kung Fu comics? These are some of my favorite comics of all time. He's a very quirky guy. Not really a team player though. So, from an internal logic perspective, doesn't make sense for Misty Knight to pick him. From a story perspective, it really wrecks a great character to move him to the back of the class.

B) Babe-a-rifficness. OK, who's tired of hot comic book women. Seriously. They are drawings. Not that that doesn't make them sort of titillating anyway... but... when every woman in every comic is just uber perfect, welllllllllllll... it gets tired. Very tired. I'm so sick of all these women always looking totally tantalizing and totally hot in totally ridiculous slut-major costumes. Sooooo over it.

Companies wonder why women leads never sell well... I'll tell you why: because they are always done exactly the same way, like in HEROES and it's always ridiculous.

Tone it down. Please.

C) The new tarantula chick is sort of mysterious, though.

D) This Humbug thing is sort of funny. Raise your hand if you remember his first appearance? I do! I do!

Where the hell did Orca come from, though? That was jarring.

I pretty much argee with you about these "Heroes for hire". And I don't really like Humbug's character. If humbug can communicate with all the insects, can he communicate with Spider-man? lol.

Spider-Man almost died: Give Punisher your thanks

I was supposed to blog about Civil War #5 after I read it but I'm always too busy. Not now. It's Sunday and it's weekend. Just looking at the cover of Civil War #5 tells you the whole story of it. But let's get into details. And so Iron Man found out that Spider-Man was going against him. So they had a little fight. Iron Man tried to talk Spider-Man but I guess no one will believe Iron Man anymore. Spider-Man was questioning Iron Man why'd he put all the heroes who refuse to register in the negative zone. Spider-Man's point that putting these heroes who didn't violate any crime but only wears those tights for good intentions is very cruel. Spider-Man was against Iron Man's ideas and that, Iron Man didn't like it. Iron man said Spider-Man was a lunatic. Meanwhile, the Fantastic Four Siblings, The Human Torch and The Invisible Woman was being chased by S.H.I.E.L.D. units. They just realized that the registration act is wrong and they're on their wa

It wasn't David who killed Goliath. It was Thor.

So it is true that Thor has killed one of Captain America 's allies. Yes Thor just murdered one of his former ally. Read on and light your candles. I just recently bought a while ago the most awaited Civil War #4 . I read through the first five pages and I found myself very sad about the events. Iron Man was beating Captain America down to the ground making his jaw almost fall off. Thor was throwing his Mighty Hammer at every anti-registration act super hero he sees. If you could just see Thor's eyes, it's full of rage ready to take down every one who opposes him. It's just too bad that Goliath died trying to stop Thor. Yeah, it was Goliath who died. Why would Thor kill his former team mate? I have the answer so again, read on. The pro-registration Super Heroes were shocked at what Thor did. Nobody was supposed to die. But Thor didn't know that. It's because that Thor isn't the original Thor . The Thor that killed Goliath was a clone of the original

The Death of Captain America

It has been almost two months since I last bought a comic book, I don't know what happened but Captain America lies dead, having been assassinated on the steps of a federal courthouse. He was led to trial by violating the Superhuman registration act. I didn't know what happened to Civil War #7 coz I don't have my copy yet but I guess the anti-registration team lost. Yeah, thanks to Iron Man for cooking the whole thing up. I've read also in Marvel's Website that Spider-Man is back in his black costume. What else have I missed? Damn! I better go check out the comic store later.
